The sixth ACM International Conference on Future Energy Systems (ACM e- Energy) was organised on 14th July 2015. INERTIA participation in the conference consisted on the presentation of the project describing its main concepts including architectural components and the technologies developed as well as the testing phase of the project with information on pilot sites.

A paper was presented by Engineering on a section about the management of smart grids. The focus was over the INERTIA framework, which considers the Internet of Things to facilitate demand-side management of energy and tackles important problems of smart energy management, ranging from a model of distributed energy resources and occupants tracking to user interfaces, software architecture and overlay networks. Pilot sites that have been implemented in Greece and Spain were also presented.
